Accommodations
Despite our best efforts to avoid it, the wedding falls on a University of Wisconsin Football home game (Go Badgers!). As Camp Randall Stadium is on the opposite end of campus, the game should not directly interfere with any wedding festivities. However, the game will likely affect hotel availability. Therefore, we encourage you to RESERVE EARLY.
Below is list of hotels in the area. If possible, we suggest selecting a hotel in downtown Madison to avoid parking problems/costs. All of the hotels listed below have parking and are within walking distance of the wedding sites. Trust us - parking downtown can be a nightmare, especially on a football Saturday.
If you prefer to stay off-campus, we recommend the east side of Madison. There are several hotels at the intersection of 90/94 and Hwy 151 (E. Washington Ave). From E. Washington, it is a straight shot to the Capitol.

The Madison Concourse Hotel sits (roughly) between the Capitol and Orpheum, making it the closest hotel to both of the ceremony and reception locations. It is also just a short walk to Ian's Pizza, where we strongly encourage you to stop and have a slice of their infamous Macaroni & Cheese pizza.
A limited number of rooms are being held at the Madison Concourse until August 27, 2011.

The only hotel on Capitol Square, the Inn on the Park sits directly across the street from the ceremony site, and is a few short blocks to the Orpheum.

There is a TWO NIGHT minimum stay requirement at this hotel. Includes one complimentary valet parking spot with each room reservation & complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle service. Identify yourself as being part of the "Kramer & Stinnette Wedding Block" to receive these rates. The cut off date for the room block rate is August 24th.

Located just blocks from the Square, the Hilton offers views of both the Capitol and Lake Monona. It is also connected to the Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Monona Terrace.
A limited number of rooms are being held at the Hilton for both Friday (9/23) and Saturday (9/24) until August 24, 2011.

Less than a half a mile from the Orpheum and even closer the Capitol, Hyatt Place is yet another option if you are looking for accommodations within walking distance. We did not set up a room block here.
